We couldn't continue to grow and develop as an organization if it weren't for our dedicated committees. Any AMA member can serve on any committee, in any capacity. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about a particular committee or are ready to volunteer!
Collegiate/YP |
College students are the next generation of marketing - we learn from them as much as they learn from us! This committee, made up of professionals, professors and college students seeks ways to familiarize college students with the many and varied careers and opportunities that exist in the field of marketing. It also seeks to familiarize college students with the AMA and offers opportunities for involvement and membership. Visit the Collegiate Connection for more information. |

Marketing Research |
We can't grow if we don't know. This committee develops, tracks, and analyzes the year-end local membership survey as well as the evaluation surveys for all events hosted by the Cincinnati AMA throughout the year. These surveys help the committee better understand our members and provide actionable insight. |

Professional Development/Programming |
If you've ever been to a Cincinnati AMA event and thought "Hey, that was really great - and I can use this in my job" then this committee has done its work. This committee continually assesses the professional development needs of the chapter and finds speakers (for monthly luncheons and other seminars), events and resources that address those needs. In 2006, the committee began to offer programs and seminars that support professionals outside of the marketing family (e.g. marketing seminars for small business owners). Visit the Events and Programs page for a full listing or for information on becoming a speaker or presenter at a Cincinnati AMA event. |

Special Events |
Camaraderie. Fellowship. Esprit de corps. This chapter has it all, and it's due to the work of this committee, which plans and organizes the Chapter's Annual Special Events: the Golf Outing (August), the Holiday Party (December), and the Community Impact Awards (May). This committee handles all logistics for each event (a big task!) as well as marketing each event, securing sponsorships, etc. Why are they called Special Events? Because of the people who attend! |

Technology |
Technology, including a more robust Cincinnati AMA website, has become an invaluable tool for the AMA to better communicate with its current and prospective members. This newly formed committee will advise the chapter on its website management tools and enhancements, member management software, member-generated content, email newsletter tools and member interest profiling. It will also look for ways to integrate podcasts, one-to-one marketing, email blasts and e-commerce into the Chapter's growing list of activities. |
