"Hitting a Cincinnati Reds Homerun with Marketing and Technology"

Phil Castellini, Cincinnati Reds Chief Operating Officer, spoke to a full house on Friday about his plans to market the next era in Cincinnati baseball with the introduction of a new manager and key players.

In addition, he talked about how the organization was working to create better synergies with local sponsors, staying connected to and further developing a diverse fan base as well as engaging young fans and getting them excited about baseball through the use of technology and special youth programs. Phil's passion for baseball and the Reds was evident as he shared anecdotes about his challenges and triumphs during his tenure with the Reds.

About the Speaker
Since joining the Reds organization, Mr. Castellini has been instrumental in the revival and expansion of Redsfest, the club’s annual fan festival, and Winter Caravan. He also oversaw additions to the ballpark experience that include new party areas Frontgate Outdoor Luxury Suite and the Cincinnati Bell Riverboat Deck, renovations to Scouts Alley, improvements to the Fan Zone, the addition of the new mascot Mr. Redlegs and the development of new uniforms.
